MEMBERSHIP

Do I have to be a law student to join your society?

No - we are open to anyone from King’s, both law and non-law students

Are LLM students welcome to join?

Yes - we are open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students

I don’t have Paypal, how can I pay for a membership?

Please email our general email at: general@kcllawsociety.com 

I bought a membership but I haven’t received a confirmation email?

Please note that after purchasing a membership you will be automatically redirected to a form. It is essential that it is filled out. After filling out the form, you shall receive the welcome e-mail within the next 48 hours.

If you were not redirected to the form or the welcome e-mail did not arrive after 48 hours.

Am I eligible for a free membership if I have not yet received my first King’s Bursary installment?

• If you are on the official King’s Living Bursary, Care Leaver and Estranged Bursary, Li Ka Shing Foundation Lord Sandberg Memorial Scholarship, or Sanctuary Scholarship you should receive your first installment by November.

• In the meantime, if you know you are a recipient of the aforementioned bursary schemes, please purchase your membership whilst we work with KCL Funding for our vetting system. You will be reimbursed at the end of the year when we vet your application for free membership.

CAN I ATTEND EVEN IF I’M NOT A KCL STUDENT OR KCL GRADUATE?

• Thank you for your interest in KCLLS. We operate for (current) KCL students and KCLLS members only, in order to satisfy commitments to our sponsors and protect member value. If you are a KCL graduate, we would encourage you to utilise the KCL Careers and Employability service, and follow KCLLS on our various platforms. Thank you for understanding.

• Please check your spam inbox. Please note that we normally send the registration link either the evening before the event or on the morning of the event.

CANCELLATION

“I NEED TO CANCEL MY TICKET, WHAT DO I DO?”

• Please go through Eventbrite. However, please be reminded that late cancellations are subject to our Non-Attendance Policy.
