THIS EVENT IS FOR KCL LAW STUDENTS / KCL LAW SOCIETY MEMBERS ONLY.
The KCL Law Society is proud to present the annual Charity Pub Quiz! Our event is once again on a private boat - this time at the Battersea Barge, moored between Vauxhall and Chelsea Bridges overlooking the Battersea Power Station and Westwards along the river. We will have the entire lower deck to ourselves!
Come and mingle with trainees from Baker & Mackenzie, Clifford Chance, Herbert Smith Freehills, Norton Rose Fulbright, Pinsent Masons, Simmons & Simmons and Slaughter and May as you battle it out for an exciting prize.
The winning team will win a classic afternoon tea for four at the world famous Ritz Hotel London, an esteemed British institution with finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked plain scones with strawberry preserve and clotted Devonshire cream, followed by a delectable selection of afternoon tea cakes and pastries.
Donation per person: £8 (excluding transaction fees) or more! Each attendee will receive a free drink at the event!
You may either enter individually or in teams of four, and your group will be paired with a trainee. You will then compete as a team to answer random trivia questions (don't worry, they're not law related), where the team with the most number of correct answers wins. If not, you still get a free drink, great company and the warm fuzzy feeling for supporting a charitable cause!
All proceeds from this event will go to Action Aid, a charity which helps the poorest, most disadvantaged women and children across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Their five key areas of work are focused on education, ending hunger, empowering gender equality, support during emergencies, and unjust tax and economic systems, which help communities directly by building long-term solutions.
