Paid work experience opportunity at Abbas Media Law, London
Abbas Media Law is a niche London law firm (regulated by the BSB) and a leading firm advising on television and film content law and regulation in the UK.
We are inviting applications from second and third year law undergraduates and law postgraduates interested in a career in media law to join us at our London offices in order to provide paid freelance administrative assistance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, outgoing student with a genuine interest in media law and regulation. Work will include:
- One day a week at our Kensington Office for an initial term of 12 weeks (some flexibility as to exact times/dates). The role can be performed as either one full day or split across two half days to fit course commitments.
- The role will largely involve administrative assistance and research, helping us to build our in house media law and regulation resources. There will also be opportunities where appropriate to experience advisory work e.g. reviewing scripts, films and television programmes. The successful candidate may also be required to assist with our social media communications and in the production and marketing of our media law magazine zoom-in, which is now distributed as a supplement to Broadcast magazine, and has a circulation in excess of 70,000.
- £10 per hour.
